Warren Wade, Conservation Warren has been deeply involved in the natural world all his life, and became a conservationist in Junior High School. A back yard and vacation birder until 1992, he improved with retirement, finally able to put all the Eastern U.S. Wood Warblers on his life list. Due to hereditary shortsightedness he depends on his ears to locate and identify birds – in new territory, he needs his wife as a spotter! He has served on the Board of MCAS since 1995, and was president for six years. The MCAS Board is the only Board of Directors he has worked with which have no ego problems or hidden agendas – it is downright fun to work with this great group of people, who accomplish more in two hours than most boards do in ten meetings! |
