MENDOCINO COAST BIG DAY

ALL DAY - October 12, 2024

 On October 12 Mendocino Coast Audubon invites you to join eBird’s Global Big Day, a worldwide birding marathon with the goal of counting as many bird species as possible in a 24-hour period.

October 13, 2024 from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM

362 N Franklin St, Fort Bragg

Join us at 1pm at Tall Guy Brewing in Fort Bragg on the next day, October 13, for a tally party to share our sightings and count up our group total species!

If you want to participate, simply go birding for any amount of time on October 12 and log all birds you see or hear into the eBird app or website. You can stay home or go further afield, and whatever bird sightings you enter into eBird will be automatically counted toward the global day’s count. Join us to help with citizen science!
